How are the shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges depend on the weight of the items being ordered and how far the package has to travel. We are located in California, so deliveries to the East Coast of the USA will cost just a bit more than those to the West Coast.
The rates quoted on our site are calculated based on the items that you have added to your shopping cart. The data is sent electronically to the shipping provider and an accurate real-time quote is provided for you. We charge the actual shipping rates quoted to you by the shipping provider; we do not make a profit on the shipping. Being as the shipping quote is an automated process, if you feel that there is an error please notify us and we will do our best to remedy the situation.

Can you use a paella pan on an electric stove?
Paella pans are slightly 'bowl-shaped' on the bottom of the pan, thus depending on the style of your electric stove they may not contact the heating surface evenly. Although gas is the preferred heating method for a paella pan, an electric stove can be used for smaller size pans (34cm/14in or smaller.) If cooking on an electric stove, start with the lowest heat setting and slowly work up the temperature to ensure the bottom of the pan is not scorched

Do the burners come with a regulator? Will they work with my propane tank?
All of our burners come with a hose and propane regulator. The hose screws directly to the burner with no adapter needed. The regulator fits all common BBQ style propane tanks - the larger refillable style of propane tanks that are available at nearly all home improvement stores. (The regulator does not fit the mini green disposable tanks designed for camping use, although you may purchase an adapter at your local camping supply store to make this work.)
